Welcome to the 10th Annual ICSA Conference &
2nd Phaedon SenoTherapeutics Summit
September 16th-19th, 2025
Rome, Italy
We are delighted to announce the 10th Annual ICSA Conference and 2nd Phaedon Institute SenoTherapeutics Summit. This year, these events will take place back-to-back from September 16th–19th at the National Research Council (CNR) in Rome, Italy. Our events will bring together leading scientists and industry members in the field of senescence biology, with the common goal of enhancing our understanding and therapeutic intervention in cellular senescence.
ICSA was established in 2015 as an international academic organization to promote research aimed at elucidating the mechanisms of aging at the molecular and cellular level from a cellular senescence perspective. This association has contributed to the advancement of aging research by organizing an annual international scientific conference (ICSA conference) where researchers conducting cutting-edge research on cellular senescence gather from around the world to report and discuss the latest research findings, satellite and virtual conferences organized by our early career researchers in Young ICSA (yICSA), and collaborations with other scientific societies relating to aging and age-associated diseases. ICSA is committed to serving young and diverse groups of scientists, and we are pleased to announce our annual DEI Travel Fellowship.
More information about ICSA is available here.
This year’s annual meeting is special for us, as we will be celebrating our 10thanniversary of ICSA meetings. In honour of this event, we will have a special seminar from Dot Bennet, the founder of the European International Cell Senescence Association, which was the foundation for ICSA. During the three-day conference, the most recent scientific breakthroughs will be presented and discussed. We are very pleased to welcome our Keynote Speaker Laura Niedernhofer, and additional talks from Bill Keyes, Maria Mittelbrunn, Keiko Kono, Ana O’Loghlen, Valery Krizhanovsky, Chanhee Khang, Dmitry Bulavin, Masashi Narita, Sofia Ferreira, Raffaella Di Micco, Clemens Schmitt, Francois Trottein, Stefanie Deinhardt-Emmer, Marco De Andrea, and Federico Armando.
In collaboration with the Phaedon Institute, a think-tank committed to supporting sustainable growth in aging and longevity sciences, we will be co-hosting a one-day SenoTherapeutics Summit just before the ICSA meeting. This summit will focus on translational and clinical aspects of senescence, and will bring together industry and policy board attendees together with basic scientists. Special registration prices are available for those wishing to attend both the SenoTherapeutics Summit and the 10th Annual ICSA Meeting. Please explore our webpage for more details.
We look forward to welcoming you in Rome!
The events will feature talks from leading senescence and aging experts around the world.
Early-bird pricing and abstract submission open through June 15th. Special discounts available for active ICSA members. If you are not yet a member, join ICSA today
